I read an article in this Sunday’s Parade magazine that spoke ill of the bean juice. It was in an article titled You Can Control Your Health by Dr. Mark Liponis.
While it didn’t point out coffee by name, it did refer to caffeine in a negative light. The author stated that reducing caffeine intake would help lower the chance of gastroesophageal reflux disease.
Now who is he to speak ill of the go juice? He’s just what, a medical doctor? I’m sure he’s spent many nights saving lives because of…because of…say it…coffee and its lovely caffeine content.
Let’s hope he doesn’t take this caffeine blame game any further.
*Disclaimer- He is right, but I think a little reflux or heartburn is worth the smooth texture and taste of a good coffee.
