Homeschooling Makes Public Schools Better

A great friend of mine recently pointed out a positive secondary benefit of homeschooling. When more of us homeschool, the teacher-student ratio in public schools changes. In other words, because we homeschool, the public school students get a better, more individualized education.

Yup, that’s right. Homeschoolers make public schools better.

The only caveat is this- it only works if the system works. That’s the danger. In most schools, they’re working from an outdated model that doesn’t fit the century we live in. How is the school your kids attend? Would it benefit from a better ratio or is the foundation cracked?
