An important lesson I learned in improv classes was the principle of “Yes, and…” It’s the idea that you stay open to ideas and new things. Instead of saying “But, no…”, you simply say “Yes, and…” and roll with it.
It’s not just an improv principle. It’s actually a very important lesson life. It seems like my Taco Bell sauce is also getting in on it, so maybe you should give it a try.
